... A Daily D? How sweet!

What could it be on.. A photograph, a manipulation, a painting, a drawing? No? No, it's a collection of stupid faces (jakkar.deviantart.com/art/FacE…) I pulled for chronicdoodler's excellent reference compendium of facial structures and emotional expressions.

How very motivational. People are looking at my work! This makes me wish I had something more relevant/recent uploaded. I'll have to fix that, as soon as I have a few permissions from those features in recent manipulations/commissioners of painty stuff.

Would anyone like a photo manipulated into something more interesting - a painting of something imaginary, an idea fleshed out and refined? I'm eager for challenges. What do you desire?

I'm working on paintings for an excellent horror author, and crafting a rather grim comic. It's good to be moving again.

Anyone want anything painted, anything written, anything critiqued? I'm usually here, craving something to challenge me.

Hard to ignore the passage of time when locked in suburbia. I'm lucky to be able to forget the time and the day of the week, still, for I've yet to be employed for money or on any regular schedule.

Where am I...

New friends gone. New contacts gone. A new friend, with promise and problems. Essentially, back at square one, like every year. Fading out of gaming/game design for the simple impossibility of finding sane and competent compadres with an interest in making games for the love, not the money.

Motivation is at particular low-point. Rarely inspired, rarely producing even the briefest scrawl.

There's always potential, but I'm still not finding a flow. The opportunities are quiet.

Ever seeking compatriots in the quest to change the world, or save it.

I hate counting hours or days, but seasons somehow don't bother me so much. I ignore the date and the time of day, but summer has real meaning. My mind and spirit seem to have woken up - my body too, I feel.. healthier, more functional.

As per summer's usual.

Time to adventure, to repair old contacts and forge new ones, and seek new data, save new memories in the world. I want to explore.

A variety of new stuff in my gallery, from wood carvings to insect photography to birdlife and photmanipulations - as well as a poem.

A lot of time passed, I lost contact with one then the other of the new folk, met no-one new, remained in contact with sweet Pixa..

.. Played a lot of games, painted a bit, learned some new tricks..

Did very little else..

.. Curses. Well, I just escaped the antisocial misanthropic apathy again, and am returning once more to social activity and outgoing behaviours - if only I could find anyone to to exhibit these at, or anywhere to outgo.

The search continues, and perhaps somewhere in there I'll fit some arting..
