The Train by Jakkar The Train by Jakkar
Forgive me the obscure and overimaginative title.

Three-photo HDR with tonemapping tuned by hand using Luminance.

My first real HDR shot :)

Train was stopped for water at a small station near Ammanford in mid-May. Ask for the specifics and I'll try to recall them.

Mm. This was a first attempt, we shall see what I come up with today :) Took lots of tripleshots to produce more, yesterday. Now to process them!

Thanks for your praise, 'nigma ^^

It feels like cheating. Had I the patience to paint to that detail, let alone the patience to learn to do so, I still wouldn't because there are better things to do in life than meticulously render the grass... I'd rather go for a walk and see nature's rendition. It's markedly superior.

HDR photography though.. Makes things so beautiful for so little effort. I feel.. Perverted, for using it, somehow. At least digital painting still takes a great deal of time and effort.
